Lauren Lambiase
Senior Project Manager, Statewide
Lauren Lambiase plays a pivotal role in advancing Alabama's economic landscape through her work with Alabama Power's Economic Development team.
Based in Birmingham, she helps lead high-impact initiatives that support business recruitment, site development and strategic partnerships across the state.
Her portfolio includes leadership on transformative projects such as the J.M. Smucker Uncrustables facility, Niagara Bottling and Meta, among many others. Lambiase collaborates closely with state agencies, chambers of commerce and private-sector partners to ensure Alabama remains a top destination for industrial growth and innovation. Her work reflects a deep commitment to community development, company growth and sustainable economic progress.
Lambiase began her economic development career in Gwinnett County, Georgia, in 2007, progressing to roles at the Georgia Department of Economic Development and eventually joining Georgia Power in 2015 as a regional economic development manager in metro Atlanta. She transitioned to Alabama Power's Economic Development team in 2019.
In addition to project work, Lambiase contributes to the broader Alabama community through her service with the Economic Development Association of Alabama, the Alabama Germany Partnership and the missions committee at her local church. She lives in Hoover with her husband, two daughters and their sheepadoodle.
I find it so rewarding to come back to Alabama, back to my family's roots, and work on behalf of its citizens – creating more employment opportunities and an improved quality of life in this beautiful state.
