Brittain Williams
GIS Project Specialist
Brittain Williams supports economic and site development efforts through mapping and geospatial analysis, helping project teams visualize opportunities and make informed decisions.
As GIS project specialist, she develops presentation-quality maps and digital mapping resources that bring data and potential sites to life.
Brittain draws onseveral years of GIS experience across the utility, local government and nonprofit sectors. Before joining Alabama Power, she served as a GIS analyst II at Spire Alabama, where she supported construction and engineering projects by developing maps and permits and coordinating with field inspectors, engineers, contractors and government agencies. She also helped develop training materials and standardized workflows as the organization transitioned from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro.
Her experience includes static and web-based mapping, geospatial analysis, field data collection and rapid-response support. She has worked extensively with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Portal and Online, and ArcGIS Field Maps.
Brittain earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental policy from Sewanee: The University of the South.
