Rob Steward is a project manager who specializes in supporting existing industry partners as they expand their operations.
His work involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders to identify and improve infrastructure challenges that strengthen communities' competitive positions.
The majority of Steward's more than 30 years with Alabama Power have involved collaborating externally with customers. His roles have ranged from commercial and industrial account management to commercial development and his current position on the industrial economic development team. This experience, along with the long-term relationships he has built, makes Steward a key resource for the companies and communities he serves.
Steward earned a bachelor's degree in commerce and business administration with a minor in history from the University of Alabama. He belongs to several real estate and economic development organizations and has volunteered on charitable, civic and municipal boards in the communities where he has lived across the state. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two grown children, often hunting, fishing, boating or enjoying other outdoor activities.
