Sondra Dunaway

Sondra Dunaway is a community development project manager.  She joined the Alabama Power Company Economic & Community Development team in 1995.  Her current responsibilities include assisting communities with product development, through the management of the Alabama Power Spec Building and the Industrial Site Development programs; partnering with communities on their existing industry outreach; and serving on the Alabama Communities of Excellence team for community assessments, in economic and community development, leadership and strategic planning.

Dunaway attended the University of Alabama, and completed her bachelor’s degree and  MBA at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her professional economic development training includes completed course work at Ohio State University and Auburn University.  She is also certified to conduct strategic planning and advance facilitation by The Leadership Strategies Institute.
