Roger Wehner

Roger Wehner has the responsibility of locating new industry in Alabama with the bulk of his efforts focused internationally. Splitting his time across Asia and Europe, he works with communities and partners to market Alabama abroad. While working in all industries, he focuses on aerospace and ground force related defense industries, forest products, and automotive.

Roger is a recent addition to the organization starting in October of last year. Prior to joining the team, Roger was attending Virginia Tech where he pursued a doctorate in strategic marketing and management in the forest products industry.

Roger graduated from Troy Sate University with a bachelor of science degree in international affairs, the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, Calif., and received a master's degree in international business and Latin American studies from the University of Alabama.
