Jan Templin

As administrative assistant, Jan Templin is responsible for providing support to both the Economic and the Community Development project managers. Her responsibilities also include coordination of the departmental budget and organization of trade show participation.

Jan joined Alabama Power in 1981 and has worked in the procurement, district accounting, and corporate marketing departments, and the security department at Southern Nuclear Company.

Jan transferred to Alabama Power's Alabama Resource Center in 1991 as senior secretary supporting the director, marketing manager and community development manager. She has been in her present position since 1995.

Jan is a member of the Alabama Power Service Organization, the Alabama Power Leadership Association and the Economic Development Association of Alabama.
